There's just something about the kind of person who's usually attracted to playing a hunter in World of Warcraft. Conversation that started up out of the blue in a group I was in tonight:

Let's sic Mayaluen on them, now there's a hunter with class and style who knows what's up. Ok, so it's unfair to leave all the bad hunter problems up to Mayaluen.

I dunno, couldn't think of anything positive to say...
There's some good hunters on our server. I was in a shadow labyrinth group horde side and we had a hunter named Junin. Completely locked down a mob as long as we wanted it, none of the single ice trap and job is done thing i've seen from a lot of hunters. Now, the warrior on the other hand... an Arms warrior, proud of it, and that somehow gave him a licence to not ever learn how to tank. I suggest Ranth and Kry go pay him a visit and break some legs.
I should also mention the warlock from that group. At one point on a 6 pull gone bad, the resto shaman and warrior had died, the hunter, lock and myself were really close and we still had 3 mobs left. I pull aggro healing the lock, die horribly and it's down to the lock and hunter. Hunter finishes ones and is about to die, I pop SS but miss the heal and the hunter dies (ok, so he FD'd about 3-4 times that fight, but this one was real :(. The warlock proceeds to fear kite 2 mobs at once, a very tough trick, and kill both with me backing him up with heals. Just plain impressive he was able to do a double fear kite and kill them at the same time.
And while i'm gushing about the warlock, let me add he wasn't one of the really annoying demonology locks who can't dps a fish if they were put in a bucket with it. (he was a destro lock, 0/21/40) I saw a 69 demonology warlock get out damaged by his pet that same night. Even better, Saranti (still 60) outdamaged both of them (though not combined, but very close).
